cotton interlock questions

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will cotton interlock fray if I don't hem the edges? I want to make a moby-wrap style sling and I'd like not to have to sew, if possible. Also, is it best to cut it with one of those pizza-cutter-like blades, or will scissors do okay?

Interlock edges do not fray when you cut them, and you can cut the fabric with scissors. I would use sharp scissors though so your edges look as nice as they can without hemming.

Good luck!

it won't fray (knits do not fray) but it may get a little fuzzy at the cut ends where the yarns start to come un-knit. You can use whatever to cut it.

you could always use microfleece too....never have to hem the edges and they never fray
