What happened to the Waldorf forum?

Where'd the Waldorf forum go? I check in to read it fairly regularly, but now it seems to have vanished. What happened?

Look up! It's at the top of the sub-forum list!

It always has been before, but all I see now is "Montessori", "Other", and
"Comparisons". And I have the Waldorf forum bookmarked, but when I try to access it, I get this message:

"Nemo6, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Please bear with us as we make a few changes to protect privacy of members that post regularly to the Waldorf forum. Thanks for your patience.

Why can't people find the Waldorf forum?

Several posters have asked where the Waldorf forum is. Do you have to have a certain post count now to see it?

It doesn't show up if I'm not logged in, but it does once I do. I PM'ed the moderator about it, but haven't received an answer.

I think it is set up for members only at the moment.

But I thought they were logged in members who couldn't see it. I didn't think any of the board was accesible without logging in. It is weird how they can go to the comparisons section but not the Waldorf section. I'm all for keeping the trolls out but that seems a little excessive.

: I am also really glad to see it will be back. Often I gain as much insight from that forum as I do from the homeschooling forum. Also, it is one of the few places where Waldorf school folks and Waldorf homeschoolers seem to end up sharing ideas - we are so often in separate groups.

It is really a public service.

Will we need to sign up for it, or will it reappear?

Thanks!

Oops! I see it now! I guess I didn't sign in until I was writing the message - sorry.

We have had issues with the Waldorf forum recently. I am addressing it with formal complaint. So until that is resolved I think it best to keep access restrictions in place. Lauren is communicating with those who express an interest in accessing. If you have any questions in this regard please contact one of us by PM. Thanks!
