Oversized Crib Sheets?

Anyone know where I can find some oversized (super deep pockets) cotton crib sheets? That don't cost like $25?

We got our organic mattress in and it's awesome! But it's WAY thicker than the traditional mattresses and with the puddle pad (which is actually pretty thin), we have only one crib sheet that barely covers it. It's the same size width/length-wise but it's just thicker so we need some bigger sheets.

And I really don't want to make any. Any suggestions? The place we got our mattress from sells organic cotton crib sheets but they're insanely expensive.

I'm okay with non-organic cotton, but it has to be 100% cotton.

Given that the bean will be in our room in her cradle for a while, we're not in a big hurry, but it'd be nice to have a stash ready when we need it.

TIA!

I did a quick google and found this site:

http://www.sheetworld.com/baby_subca...FTVgDgodX061LA

When you click on one of the sheet choices it says that they come w/deep pockets, but I haven't tried them so I don't know for certain how deep they are. They have tons of choices though and the price looks good ($12.99). They also have an option to get custom sheets made where you could specify the depth, etc. (they give you a quote). Looks promising. Good luck! I've been thinking about buying one of those mattresses b/c I remember you saying how great it is! Good to know they're deep.

ETA: Which mattress did you get from DAX? The Quilted Organic Cotton and Wool Crib Mattress? I don't want to spend a ton on something cushier when babies/toddlers weigh so little, kwim? And that one is already about $150 more than I spent on our regular crib mattress. But I want to know which is the one that you love.

Did you get the one with springs or without?

I got this one: http://store.daxstores.com/v-snq-crib.html

It's wool and cotton, with springs. It's VERY well-made and firm but soft. I love it and if we hadn't just plopped out tons of cash last year on a new mattress, I'd get the grownup version for us.

It was like $245 w/free shipping, but it took @ 6 weeks to get here, since they make them to order. Best deal on the web, honestly in terms of cost, especially with the free shipping.

Maybe you can somehow attach something to the sides of the sheets you have -- like sew some loops on and then use belts or something to go under the mattress to keep the sides from popping up. I'm sorry, I'm REALLY not explaining myself well. Just something to pull the sides down and under the mattress.

I would combine a twin sheet with some of those elastic thingys that they sell at Linens & Things type places to keep your waterbed sheets tucked in...
