For anyone interested in ordering fuller newborn testing....

this is the fullest testing program, by the lab that pionered it.... there are others-- Mayo, Baylor, etc... but they dont test for ALL the things they have tests for.... it's $$-- almost 100 bucks, but... well, if you start reading the stories about kids who were not diagnosed in time..... well. anyhow. not for the faint of heart.
Basically, it SHOULD be required for all states to screen for all... but because the equipment is $$, the places that are adpoting the full screening process are those that have been sued by parents who lost their children to diseases that could have been caught-- and prevented.... anyhow. for what it's worth!
