Where to get Montessori materials cheap (used??)?

Hi all! I've seen the previous post on this, as for where to buy things, but I'd love to find some CHEAP. I'm making what I can, luckily DH can woodwork so I should be able to mak rods, for example, by ourselves. But what is a good resource for used material? We went to a montessori preschool yesterday and DS really liked all the activities and projects so I want to replicate what I can at home. TIA!

Not sure about used materials but www.montessorimaterials.com has a lot of ideas and things you can print for free. I've printed some on cardstock I can cut apart to make games with. And this site has some ideas for how to make/do things at home in a montessori style: http://get-me.to/monthome

Those are my 2 favorite. Good luck! I love the montessori style!

My daughter really likes the letter cards, so I bought some felt letters and pasted them on to index cards. They are raised so she can feel them, but it cost less than 5 dollars

Thanks! I love the DIY site!! I started making a few things myself, but this site gives me many more ideas. I searched around and found some good prices on things to buy on ebay, especially from here. Just thought I'd post that here in case anyone else wants the info at some point!

I have found some awesome Montessori materials at yard sales and thrift stores.

Wooden bowls perfect for spooning rice, ect. Measuring spoons, funnels, etc.

Also the dollar store. I found some really nice plain, linen placemats for setting up work areas.
