Basically it is a study about how to make your faith real in your everyday life. How to find God in everything that is around you.
The inside of the flap says basically it teaches 7 ways to experience God in a personal relationship kind of way. Not just knowing but "knowing". The front of the book says "How to live the full adventure of knowing and doing the will of God"
Does that help? I did it so long ago I can't give much of a personal aspect to the book.
We studied it in an adult class at church (Lutheran) last spring. I think you would get a lot more out of it in a group setting. There was a lot of interesting discussion each week and our group became close as a result. I really looked forward to it each week while I was doing it. It is a committment, there is reading every night and you should go every week if you are studying as a group.
Thanks for the explanation. It does sound interesting and very like a book I read last year -- How to Know God by Deepak Chopra. That book discusses our varying levels of understanding/communion and differing relationships with God based on our view of a relationship with God.
