Any thumbsuckers?

Daph is a TOTAL thumbsucker. Her poor lil thumb is all red and looks like a big blister. She doesnt act like it hurts her though. Do i put something on it? Probably not, cause she would suck it off. But I always get paranoid that she is hungry when she is doing that but she rather just have her thumb sometimes. Even when she IS nursing she tries to stuff her thumb in there WITH the boob! LOL Jevin never was attached to anything in particular so I have no idea about this! It sure is cute though: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...005resized.jpg

Awww what a cute picture!

Greyson doesn't suck his thumb or want a binky or want anything but my boob. Darn it.
He did have a bottle of EBM tonight while I went to a class, so that's cool.

nope. she's sort of a fistsucker though. she jams her index finger in there sideways, always doin something with her hand in her mouth but not quite sucking her thumb. it gags her.

Simon was sucking his thumb just after being born and I was hopeful. Unfortunately, he hasn't really mastered thumbsucking as a comfort measure yet, though he too has found his fist. It's cute, whenever he finally puts his thumb in his mouth he'll try to suck for a few seconds, then makes a really disgusted face and spits it back out.

I would like him to become a thumbsucker, though.

Cute picture of Daph!

Samara is fist sucker. Where her thumb meets her hand is all red and blistery. I was really worried about her breaking the skin because she has SEVERE excema, so I resorted to popping a paci in her mouth when she tries to suck her fist. I'm glad she took it because she has enough skin issues as it is.

Very cute pic.

Savannah's a thumb-sucker as well, though not to the point of turning her hand red...

Aveena does the thumb thing too. Though most of the time it doesn't seem to help her much. And I get worried that shes hungry and think maybe feed her when she doesn't need it. Though she'll always take a feed if it's offered!

He tries to find his thumb but usually ends up with a wrist or fist. The other day, he had a pacifier and I looked over nd he had his thumb in too!

Awwww!!! what a sweet picture. Tharen doesn't suck his thumb, he sucks his first two fingers instead. he also chews on his whole hand. He is teething in a serious way and loves to chew on his daddy's fingers, and if he can't chew them he will take his own. He takes a paci occasionaly (mostly at night), but I think he is going to prefer his thumb/fingers. Kearnan was such a paci baby, this is a whole different ball game for me. He also has a lovey (cloth wipe) which Kearnan never did.

Feeney is attempting to suck her thumb but usually ends up with fingers or her fist, when she gets just a finger or a thumb it makes the cutest sound.

on another note she did not accept a bottle that was a whole ordeal b/c i was a bad mommy(it's in my blog)

Winter sucks his thumb or finger or my thumb or the corner of a blanky or his stuffed Winnie the Pooh's nose or anything else that comes near his mouth.
He's a sucker!

Cailan sucks his thumb when he can find it. Otherwise he sucks his fingers, his fist or his wrist. He likes to suck my thumb also.
