wish me a better day than yesterday...

i think i'm going to go insane...all 3 of my boys are sick and in a really bad mood. dh has body aches, fever, diarrhea, headache and is throwing up.

ds1 seems to have a miserable head cold and a croupy cough.

ds2 seems to have what both of the others do - noticable symptoms are diarrhea (like a lot) and a stuffy nose.

i am going crazy trying to take care of them all. i almost lost it yesterday. i need some serious good thoughts coming my way, mamas. and any advice (for staying sane or helping them get better) is appreciated.

oh, mama!
sounds horrible! my only advice to you is to let go whatever isn't ABSOLUTELY necessary. the dishes will still be there to do when everyone's well, etc. can you order in food? let the laundry pile up? think survival mode.
sending your family lots of get well soon vibes

Sending you all kinds of good thoughts. That sounds so difficult. As above, just let go everything except what's necessary to take care of your boys - and to take care of yourself. Even if it means just going in the bathroom, shutting the door for a minute and splashing cold water on your face (Ahhhhhh!) for a moment before rejoining the misery again.

thanks, ladies! it was a decent day, but let me tell you...i am exhausted! taking care of 3 boys (2 children and dh) is soooo tiring. reed's diarrhea is better now and not as green. dh actually went back to work today and carter didn't get the stomach bug, thank goodness...

i am amazed i didn't get it. guess the probiotics, hand washing, fresh garlic, echinacea and neti pot *do* work! i think i sold dh on preventative health after this one.
