: were delivered vaginally on 3/20 (39 wks, 4 days) at 5:14 & 5:35 am, weighing in at 7 lb 4 oz & 7 lb 5.5 oz. We were able to leave the hospital the same day. I have a bit of healing to do (2nd degree tear) but nothing compared to my recovery from dd's birth. They are both doing fantastically!

I'm not on your ddc either, but I've seen you around the Parenting Multiples forum and I had to pop in and say congratulations! Way to go for keeping them in there so long! Mine were almost 2 months early, so I'm always happy to hear when others have gone longer (and delivered vaginally!). And congrats on bringing them home!

Welcome to the crazy, wonderful, magical world of mothering twins.

Congratulations!!! Welcome, Calder and Evan!

You did an awesome job at bringing two healthy babes into the world. I hope you're proud of yourself, because you should be!!! The first few weeks with twins can be tough-- just keep your chin up, rest at every possible moment, and remember that it all gets easier week by week. I remember six weeks was a real change, as was eight weeks and ten... PM me if you ever need anything, and if you have people around you (in real life) who can support you with cleaning time, meals, and baby-holding time, lean on them heavily!! , and good luck!!!

Thanks, everyone. Things are going really well. Both boys are nursing great. We had to go up to the hospital yesterday, which was a major PIA, to get Evan checked out because he had a heart murmur at birth. He was perfect, of course! Made for a long day, though. One which I began in tears as I searched for a shirt that fit & would work for nursing in public all day. Much nicer to be home today.
