If it isn't bothering you too much, I'd say leave it alone. If it really is bothering you, I would go ahead and use the witch hazel pads and talk to your care provider at your checkup about it.
Not that I'm much help, I have at least 6 from DD's birth 4 years ago that I haven't had taken care of.... I don't even want to know what's gonna happen after this one!

drink lots of water, eat fiber, try to keep your stools soft.
you can also do sitz baths several times a day, that helped with mine a lot.
i put my witch hazel pads in the fridge, that felt good.

They will get better with time
The Tucks really help; also the usual hemorrhoid cream, if you don't mind using that but you have to be pretty consistent with it. Soaking in warm water helped me a lot and so did staying off my feet as much as possible. The hospital gave me a stool softener for the first week which really helped.
Good luck - I know how uncomfortable they can be.

I am suffering from these as well. Sadly they are very uncomfortable. warning TMI ahead.... Not to mention making it hard to keep clean!!
Do they ever go away? I had a tiny one from when I was pregnant with DD, and that didn't bother me. Now I have several large ones and I just wish they would go away already. I will ask my midwife about them if they are still there at my 6 week checkup...but can anyone tell me what I can do to make them go away?? Or if they go away at all??
