I have had a really rough day from a horribly stressful meeting to going over to my parents' house. I haven't told them yet about the pregnancy and my mom commented that I look like a pregnant lady. I think that my tummy is sticking out a little but she is overly critical about my appearance in general. I didn't and still don't plan to tell her until after twelve weeks. I think my reaction is likely due to my exhaustion. I sleep so much but I still feel so tired by the afternoon. It is 8:20 p.m. and way past my bed time!

Oh,
I hope tomorrow is better. Get thee to bed! Things look better after a good nights' sleep. Sorry you had such a bad day.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with looking like a pregnant lady.
I am really shocked that someone would say that as an insult! What a mean thing to say.
I am sure you are beautiful, and I am sorry you had such a crappy day. Maybe a good comeback to a nastified comment like that would be, GREAT I think Pregnant ladies are beautiful.
