runny noses, do they all lead to colds?

DD has her first runny nose. Can you have a runny nose without getting a cold like adults can? Is this one of those weird teething symptons, cause she definitely has begun massaging her gums and drooling tons.

What have the experienced mommies learned?

I have to take a short flight with her next week and I am scared she will be sick.

It could definately be teeth. I know lots of kids who get runny nose with teething. Is it clear or yellowy/green?

It's clear for now, so I am hoping it is teething related. And she also has that saliva cough that doesn't sound like a REAL cough.

that's exactly louie right now. we've all been sick lately, so i'm really hoping it's only teething issues....
