How long did you bleed for?
I started bleeding in hospital...stopped about 2 days after getting home...and now have started bleeding again. I can't remeber if that happened with my other babes or not. Is that normal?

WOW! Stopped after 2 days being home.....that would be SWEET! I had a C-section exactly three weeks ago and I still have a VERY light amount of bleeding happening. It was was about medium for the first week after I was home and then pretty light for the last couple. I'm sensing it should be just about done in the next couple days. I can't remember the first time around because I was pumping at that time and I think it stopped after two weeks then. Everyone is different though.

Phoenix:

Had the same experience; stopped bleeding about 2 days after I got home from the hospital (and even in hospital, it had been very, VERY light). I had about a week with absolutely NOTHING, and then suddenly found myself having a moderately heavy amount of bleeding again. My MWs had told me that would probably happen, because I stopped so quickly.

I sure will be happy when it stops again, though; between the maxi pads and the nursing pads, I feel like I am constantly changing "protection"!
