WM not sure of baby's position.... ack

so, at my 39 week apt today, neither of my mw could be sure of the baby's position..... so, i have to go for an u/s tomorrow. i'm so not happy with that, but i do want them to feel confident of the position, and obviously, at 39 weeks, if baby IS breech, we need to know that. ugh.

i'm going to do the bag of peas, flashlight, and music tonight, just in case..... anything else???

send me calming vibes, please, and baby HEAD DOWN vibes... and head engaged vibes.

Last week, like the week before, and the week before.... baby WAS head down, and very engaged. Augh! What the heck?!?!:

So not looking forward to having to deal with a medical person. ICK ICK ICK.

I feel hiccups at the top of my belly too, and baby is head down. I think it depends on how they are lying in there, so don't worry about that yet. I mean, enough that they shake my boobs...makes DH laugh.

Hopefully you can get ths little one to spin.

Two weeks ago I had dinner with some family and my cousins talked to the top of my belly all evening. The next morning I woke up with baby suddenly breech (had *always* been head down) - confirmed by hiccups at the top of my belly and no where else (like you said, never been *there* before!) I freaked out but later in the day there was a HUGE amount of movement and baby seemed to turn head down. Next morning we were back to head up....yikes!! Long chat with baby, HUGE movements mid-day and baby was back to head down (where it has remained). I no longer allow anyone to talk to the top of my belly, that's for sure!!! So, yeah, get on all of the breech turning tricks. If babe had room to turn one way this late in the game it can certainly turn right back around

Me too. I'm around 35 wks, and baby is Probably head down...but the mw isn't sure...so we're keeping an ultrasound in mind...but I hate all this negativity!
I like the appointments where we talk about improving already good nutrition, and helpful exercises, and other positive stuff. Suddenly, bc she doesn't think that's definitely a head she's feeling, we're talking about ultrasounds, versions, and interventions.
And all this over a baby that can still spin around another few times before birth!
