I'm sorry you are having to schedule a c-section, but it sounds like you aren't being left with any other choices. I do know that size estimates on u/s at this point are highly inaccurate though. I'm sure you are very, very excited to meet your little one, even though its not the way you planned! Lots of good luck! Hope everything goes smoothly and you have a quick recovery! Can't wait to see some pics of the little cutie and find out if you had a boy or a girl

I am so sorry that you are facing this option. Remeber, though, it IS posible to do this on your terms. Take a look at your birth plan and look for ways to tailor it for the csect. And there are tons of supportive mamas here who have had similar experiences. As well as us!

I read more than I post 'round here but I had a c-sec with my ds because he was breech due to the position of my placent and I started bleeding (non cervical) 8 days before his due date.

It wasn't the birth I wanted - but completely motivated me this time to seek out a homebirth midwife and do everything I can for a beautiful HBAC.

I often wonder if I had not had a c-sec would I have been so committed to homebirthing this time?
