Amy, don't worry about the side effects of the meds. The benefit of the med TREMENDOUSLY outweigh any side effects you may have at first. For most people the side effects only last the first weeks. By the time the med really kicks in the side effects are pretty much gone. The only ones that remain for me are the one I mentioned above and sinus congestion which is a rare one for the AD that I'm on. It figures that I would be the one in a hundred who gets it. I get sinus headaches if I don't keep the crud blown out of my nose. Easy enough to take care of. If I do get one, sudafed takes care of it.
My mom and mil are both on AD's. Mil is on prozac. She especially has been really supportive.
I can't wait to hear how you feel when the meds kick in.

! Even without the baby questions.
The ones that I mainly marked were about feeling irritable, getting angry (I didn't mark anything higher than a 1)-- after all who doesn't. Even a totally healthy person would score around 10.
Not good!
