Anamom, thank you so much for dropping by and letting us know that you and the twins are hanging in there for the homestretch. Cheesedreams/Cheeselady, thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I hear so many horrible things about fertility declining rapidly the minute we turn 43, so yours was a particularly hope-inspiring post.
Amy, do you have any more good news for us yet or am I just being greedy?
Despite those research studies recommending that we NOT TTC between May and August, that's when my babies have always been conceived and spring babies just feel right and natural and normal to me, as much as I love the new styles of summer maternity clothes.
Well, my life definitely hasn't been boring. I did not insem on Mother's Day because I wound up with my longest and wackiest anovulatory cycle yet, but I wound up feeling more of a sense of urgency than hopelesness and
kept taking her own sweet time until I felt okay about bringing KD up a full week later than planned.
I did two insems (AM and PM) with the fresh "stuff" on CD10. I had a characteristic temp drop this morning, which usually happens right before I O, so I think that in spite of everything, I got the timing spot on.
After everything that has happened in 2007, I'm still reeling from the fact that KD did NOT pocket the money order and disappear, that he was pleasant and respectful and did NOT rape me and dd or cut us up with a chainsaw, the insemination actually took place, and my body might actually be working the way it's supposed to.
It almost makes me believe that good things could actually happen in this world.
Good luck next cycle, MsGB. I would be due on February 10 (Phoenix's due date as well, and one day after my birthday) so perhaps we could still be in the same DDC.
