Sorry

Temp was lower this a.m. but still above cover. I had to take it way earlier as I was woke up by YDS after some very fitful sleep. DH is very ill right now. I am tempted to throw it out but will wait. I hope it will be up in the a.m. if not then I am sure the hag will soon follow.

Hello Mamas

Temp. drop this money just a little below coverline. FF said probably not fertile. I have been spotting since 2dpo.

Well waiting for the hag to rear its head.

Talk to you later.

Well, my temp drop was just above coverline and the hag sent her dog spot ahead of her. She should show up in all her glory tomorrow.
Lisa we can be miserable together.
Folaboye sorry she is dogging you too.

Hey Laurie (massaginmom),

I totally cracked up when I read your post about the hag's dog, spot. Very creative! But of course, I'm sorry to hear that. May next cycle be "the one".

Well, even though the hag showed. I am feeling like this was a good cycle. I had a 13 day luteal phase and I must have a had a really good lining because my flow is fairly heavy for this being cd1 I think DH and I will bd everyday from the end of af until i get my crosshairs.

Subbing

Hi mamas! I'm not sure if I'm TTC yet but it looks like I could if DH and I were ready(a discussion is needed). I miss having someone to root for, so here I am.

I'm charting again (DS is sleeping well) and AF has returned from her nursing hiatus.

Hi there,
Sorry Laurie & Folaboye about AF showing. I haven't tried to use the chart smilie so don't know how it is done! Laurie,I know what you mean about feeling like you had a good cycle even with no PG. I just had a nice big AF so am hoping for good luck and a good lining!
Liz...it is hard to resist that urge to TTC..wishing you luck & good health!
Ms Goodbuns, how is your cycle shaping up?
Stonefence, welcome! Introduce yourself & good luck with your decision!
Anamom,Polka,Velvet,Catrinel,Hollybell,Summermom hope things are well
with you. Numnumom(caren) we miss you...if you ever browse say hi..same thing goes for Caroline (cheesedreams) & all our old friends like Hopeful & Jempd.
Here is hoping that this spring blesses some of us..it certainly is happening all around us..in my own neighborhood where I have learned 2 women are due in Sept..one of whom is 40 now. As my across the street neighbor had her first and only at nearly 46 I would be in good company! Only my family & friends to shock..not my neighbors!
Take care,
Lisa

Thanks for your love and prayers

CD4 today, the devil stopped. I'm waiting to ovulate.

Good Lucks to Everyones Trying.

May this month/cycle be ours.
I went today and bought an ovulation scope at Walmart. I will begin using it as soon as af is gone. She should be leaving tomorrow. I think I will like this better than temping. I may still temp so I can obsess about my post O chart though. LOL
I know, that is not funny. But I probably will.

Intro

Hi all, I'm Amy. I have a DH and a DS who is almost 1. I'm a WOHM. DS goes to a wonderful family daycare. I managed to BF for 9 months Between DS's interest in solids and working I dried up earlier than I wanted to. He is thriving but I still get the guilts.

DH and I are debating a second child. I'm 40 and we need my income. A second child would make working silly. I think we could make ends meet if necessary. I was planning to give up working in another 4 years anyway (student loans will be paid off).

Anyhow, I'm here to root for some mamas.

Welcome Stone Face. I have a book somewhere about a Mom who gave up a high paying job to stay home. They did it and I believe you can too. I just found the book. She actually wrote 2 books, "Miserly Moms" and "Frugal Families" her name is Jonni McCoy
She has some really good stuff on cutting back and making the most of your money.
There is also a Frugal Thread here at MDC that might help you.
We live very frugally now. We're just in some debt. We're not accumulating more debt, just paying off. Once that is over we can live on one income and save too. I spend a lot of time on the Frugality Thread

Last summer while I was on maternity leave we hardly spent anything. Mostly because I stayed home and had no temptations.

Does anyone elses DH need an Excel spreadsheet to see how it is possible to "afford" children? My DH seems to have figured out that it is possible despite what the spreadsheet said. He is more willing to consider another since our first was born.
Amy,
A spreadsheet...that image is funny..although no doubt we may have benefited from that at some point or another. I just convince DH by giving him "the look" whenever one of the kids has done something especially charming or they are being particularly nice to each other. That,a clean house & a glass of wine! Working on the clean house part now as this weekend should be a go! Maybe even Mother's day for irony.
Good Luck to you & to all!
Lisa

I had a thought this morning. When I was in my 20s I didn't even think I would be Getting it On at 43 let alone TTC. LOL Now I know why the saying Fabulous Forties was coined.
Lisa sending you big time : vibes
