I'm going to have to hire her to teach me how to have such a nice house (and to make me some cool art!). LOL! I'm ashamed to have ever had her over at my filthbox.

I am mortified about this!!! So embarrassed... I had managed to get it partially together when you came, and just thought I'd take the opportunity to get the floors swept b/c vacuuming was impossible for me. Especially since it turned out that our 400 lb. vacuum was partially plugged at the time. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.

Forgive you? For having a clean house while concurrently vomiting hourly?! Hmmm. I really do love a good resentment. Especially one that lasts....hmmm.

Okay. I'll forgive you. But only cause its Lent! Anything else you want to get it before Lent ends in 8 days? Take advantage of some good Catholic guilt? Anyone?

Seriously while your house does make me embarassed about my own, I you for sharing those photos. I wish there were more pictures out there of how a lived-in house can be beautiful and charming.

(Now, if only I could find pictures of a charming home that was made out of a stupid box house like I live in. I'm beginning to suspect that only older homes with nooks and crannies can ever look really good.)

Stupid box-house here! Not close to charming yet, but we're working on it.

I have a question if you don't mind. I love your kids' bunkbed. Could you share with us where you got it and if it was expensive (if you don't mind).

Those are your paintings?! Love them. Besides the neutral colored walls and comfy/homey yet organized decorating the art work really stood out and fit in well.

I like your design style; neutral walls with splashes of colours, art and plants all over!
