Finally taking a second to post my proud mama note..
Katelyn Elise is here! She was born on March 30 at 11:21p, weighed 7.1lb and 20.5in long.

She is absolutely beautiful!

My birth story is alot different than I expected it to be, probably very different than most here at MDC (probably would get eye rolls from alot of folks here actually) but it was very enjoyable and unforgettable.
(Yes, I went ahead with induction, yes I said yes to the epidural- and yes, I probably could have done without either but in the end, looking back I am very happy with the way things went.)
She is a champion nurser- although we did get a talkin' to by the doc about not letting her fall asleep after 5 mins of nursing-bad for supply building. With a little coaxing, she nurses for a good 10-12 per side now.

The important thing is that you had the birth you wanted and a birth that gave you a healthy baby. You had both! Births are all so different....it'd be crazy of anyone to look differently on someone who made an educated choice about their birthing process. Will you post the birth story? I'd love to hear how Katelyn came into the world!
