Using Letrozol/Femera

Anyone used this yet? I have done several rounds of clomid, Ovulated at 200mg however no pregnancies. Its been 5.5yrs now. RE suggested Letrozol/femera.

Successes? Anyone use it ?

I used it for three cycles. According to my RE - it is slightly less reliable than clomid.

There are less side effects than Clomid - which is lovely!

I am not sure why they go for clomid and then suggest you go backwards to letrozole...seems like a slightly less effective drug for this treatment... My doc did this too...

I was on Femara last cycle and I did not ovulate. My body tried but follicles stagnated at 13mm for a few days, then receded. This was totally odd since I have not known myself to not ovulate and was taking it primarily for Luteal Phase Defect. I am now in a quandry about how to move ahead this cycle, given I don't know how to deal with an anovulatory cycle. Reason they did Femara is that Clomid thinned my lining.

I have no success to report, though. I may move on to injectibles after another round of Clomid (they will supplement with estrogen to try and rescue my lining, which worked last time it thinned).
