How can I make this hat so that after it's felted, the rim doesn't flare open? I'm making a fibonacci skullcap for my DH, I want it to fit like that. I'm guessing here.. should I start with a smaller needle? Rib the edge? Start with less stitches for CO and increase after a few rows? Help! New knitter, go easy on me!
