You'll be holding your baby soon moosemommy! Me- still here, still waiting. Just enjoying the calm before the storm. DH is off from work until mid-May, so we are having fun just relaxing at home together. Reading a lot, and I have found puzzles to be a very effective way of passing time.

I wish I could just pick something for the wedding - but alas since I am a bridesmaid IN the wedding, my choices are not really the ones that matter. My mom's are. So while all the suggestions are great, I don't have a lot of say in what I wear. And if I have to change after the ceremony into something else, no biggie. I am not even going to worry about it too much - since it is going tobe another month before I can try anything on and have it be a reasonable approximation of what it will fit like.

Ahh...waiting. Maybe a nap will help that waiting go faster!

Good luck moosemommy!!!!!!

I'm here too. Pretty much 39 weeks, but since my first was 5 weeks early, this feels soooo overdue. I just found out my husband's whole family made BETS on what day the baby would be born so now they are all calling and either telling me to hurry and have her within a few hours so they can win, or cursing me because they've already lost, or thanking me for waiting. It's just hi-larious to them, and makes me want to murder them all!

On the upside, today was a really nice day. Had playgroup in the morning, took DD to the library where she was extremely well behaved, vacuumed out the car at the carwash place which DD thought was great fun, then got some lunch out and coincidentally ran into a friend and her kids, then spent the rest of the day outside in the sun where DD picked all the dandelions and hyacinths in the yard and then arranged them in vases. I'm just trying to soak up all the snuggles and cute moments while it's just the two of us, because I know that will end soon. Today she insisted on pushing the water fountain button herself and trying to drink it. She kept squirting herself in the face, or opening her mouth all huge and then letting go...it went on forever and was so funny, I wished I had a video camera.

But, then tonight she peed in her bed...after being perfectly potty trained for a year. She's done this a few times, and I know it's normal but I'm afraid she's getting very freaked out about the new baby sister coming. She's also been crawling into bed with us every night, which is fine, but she had stopped doing that several months ago. She's always welcome, but it's harder to be hugely pregnant and sleep with her in the bed with us, and she used to only come in for snuggles in the early morning every now and then. Now it is every night and it's getting earlier and earlier. Tonight she's sleeping on our bedroom floor. I just hope I can give her enough attention and lovies when we've got the new baby around so that she won't feel too jealous towards her. Sorry that got really long!

I am also still here and the anticipation is killing me...I get on the boards and read post after post after post and I am dying to go into labor. I also would like to post more but I find myself reading more then posting as I feel everything has been said and I am just waiting for it to happen. I have absolutely NO SIGN that labor is even remotely close. ugh! 21 days togo.

38 weeks here.

Nothing. Just normal. Ah well, she will come when she wants to.

And I second that someone can come clean my house! My nesting extends to puttering and small crafty projects...though all the clothes and diapers are washed. The receiving blankets are not. Nor are the sheets I am supposed to have for my bed, or the towels, and I don't even know where the pillowcases are. I am hoping that I can finish the baby's room this weekend....maybe. Though watching tv and knitting sounds much more appealing.

38 1/2 weeks...and I still feel like it could be a while, which is a good thing b/c I totally relate to Adina's nesting style! Tomorrow I have an awesome group of ladies coming over to deep clean my house for me. I am thrilled, but this week I was supposed to be tidying so they could clean...unfortunately I spent most of the time on the couch totally wiped out from being sick. I was so happy when I woke up this morning and had an inkling of energy again - I might actually get to the tidying after all (if not they'll just have to dust around the piles )

Of course today - every time I get up and walk around I have a B-H contraction...which makes me want to lie in bed.

I think I can just sit and do little crafty crap though...i have some stuff left.

I'm still here too. Now 4 days past my EDD. I feel strangely okay at this point, which is REALLY ODD! I think that being so active recently and all the walking is just making me feel good. I am feeling a bit of anxiety though (like I couldn't even sleep in the night because of it ) and a bit nauseous the last 2 days. Not sure what is up with that!

Can't wait to hear Moosemommy's birth story!

Becca, I have been nauseous sometimes too, and I've had a few big loose poops, lost a little plug here and there. This morning I woke up in a really weird mood thinking maybe today is the day. I had contractions during the night waking me up several times. I'm just trying to forget I'm even pregnant and ignore any of these little signs because they just make me more impatient. And I'm not even overdue yet!

Labor vibes to everybody who wants them

It seems like all my friends are saying "lets get together before the baby is born" and suddenly, we've got dinner parties planned like crazy! I'm a little concerned because I want to make sure I stay centered in case I go into labor, but at the same time, it's nice to have the diversion. I'm having a ton of BH's and am thinking it could happen this week.... but of course this is my first and I'm probably overreacting to the BH's.....
