Knit through the back loop (k tbl)

I am trying to figure out how to do this stitch. But I can't for the life of me. Its driving me nuts. Can someone help me out? Please?

About 3/4 of the way down the left hand side is k tbl. With videos in both continental and english styles.

Amy- It's a misnomer to call it the back loop... it's the same "loop" as you always knit- you are knitting through the back leg of the stitch... Usually you knit the leg on your side of the needle- but "TBL" you knit the half on the far side of the needle- this twists the stitch 1/2 twist... so instead of a \ / shape- the stitch you worked will be more like an X.

You see the stitches on your needle? You usually knit them on the front. Simply put your right needle behind the left needle and knit the stitch.

I love that site! I've actually done more cabling work than straight pattern-knitting because all the "k 2tog" "ssl" jargon through me for a loop until I found that site.
