I was just looking over the required vaccines to go to school (thanks for the link, btw!)
http://www.michigan.gov/documents/Sc...002_7213_7.pdf
and noticed that it says the chicken pox vaccine is required to enter a Nursery, Licensed Day Care Center, Preschool, Headstart Program, Pre-Primary Impaired, or 4's at Risk Program. It says "Dose must be given at or after 12 months of age OR documented history of chicken pox disease from a reliable source". As I was reading this I realized that DS is (was?) probably going to start some sort of a preschool for delayed 3 and 4 year olds this fall. Are they really going to keep him out because he hasn't had the shot? I hadn't even thought of it
Is there an exemption I can get just for the chicken pox one? This seems rediculous (and if push comes to shove he's just not going to the preschool, I'll find something else- at home therapy or something- before I budge on the vaccines issue).

Thanks! And just to bug you a little more... what should I put in the "reasons" area that won't get too many questions??
