knitted wrap patterns?

Hi,
I am just learning to knit (now done a scarf & working on a blanket of squares), anyways, while we are trying to TTC#1 I am thinking we'll be using hand-me-down cloth diapers, but I need wraps, and I might as well knit them. I looked at the patterns above (briefly), and am thinking they are mostly for sewing, and I don't sew.
Any ideas where I can find patterns for the outer wrap? I am thinking probably a one piece no snaps/velco variety. Does that make sense?

There's a whole forum for yarn crafts just waiting for you to discover it!

This forum is usually more about the diapering projects you do with your sewing machine, while yarn crafts has tons of info about knitting for diapering, in addition to other yarn-related projects. Stop on over, and you'll get tons of advice.

As far as a diaper cover, the pull on kind are often called soakers. Jenny at www.tinybirds.com has a free soaker pattern, and there are also TONS of beautiful patterns available to purchase. Just look at the stickies at the top of yarn crafts for pattern and wool tips.

There is a nice woolen knitted pattern for free on a site called Ottobre.
You could try googling it!!

yep, the pull-on knitted wool covers are called soakers, and there are LOTS of patterns for those. Knitted wool wraps, on the other hand, have a fastener of some sort so you don't have to pull them on & off, and there are only a few patterns for those.
I have a free pull-on soaker pattern available - look in the link for the free diaper pattern in my sig. It's under "knitting"

ah, thanks so much! I was wondering why this section was very sewing focused! I have to remember the word 'soakers' obviously!
