7 pounder in pocket

Hi All...I'm back from birthing our lovely daughter (born Mar. 31). A few weeks ago I posted pics of my first pockets. Thought you might be interested to see a pic of baby Claire, 3 days old, 7 lbs., in one of those dipes. The pocket is stuffed with a premie prefold but I've had to add a small micro insert also. BTW - this was a good sewing moment...she is lying on my first quilt that I ever made (a few years ago)!

so sweet! Great job on the diaper and I must say, that's a very lovely quilt, too

Love her name, too - Clara was almost "Claire", but "Clara" seemed to suit her better once she was born!

That is SOOOO cute! She looks very smart already! The diaper fits really well. In fact it fits so well she doesn't look like a newborn in it! I bet it's tiny!

I love your DD's name too. My middle name is Claire. I was named after my Grandmother who was a very cool woman.

She is beautiful and the diaper looks like it fits her perfectly. Your quilt is so pretty! Did you do the inlayed sewing before you put the sqaures together or after?

Great job on the dipe mama! Though the dipe doesn't come close to being as cute as your babe!

She is gorgeous!! Diaper looks great, so does the quilt. Don't you love seeing your babe in things you made?
