Hello Ladies,

I have ? p/s, and I dont know whether I;m in the right forum to ask the question. Anyway the ? is After AF what are the sign to be watching for towards ovulation?

This sound like a stupid ? but I'm confused. I don't know whether I am doing it right or wrong. I'm charting on Fertitlity friend, though first time last month it told me ovulation was not detected. Please Help. I'm on CD6 today waiting to Ovulated. Thank you All. I will be waiting for everyones response

After AF, as you approach ovulation, your cervical fluid should be getting progressively more fertile -- usually dry, then sticky, then creamy, then eggwhite. And your vaginal sensation becomes progressively more lubracative, as well. You can also check your cervical position, but this can take some time to get the hang of. Around ovulation, your cervix should be high, soft and open. As far as temps go, some women see a drop in their temps right before ovulation, but this really varies from person to person and cycle to cycle. After ovulation, you should see your temps rise above your coverline to indicate that O really did occur, and they should stay there for the duration of your luteal phase.

I'd really recommend picking up a copy of Toni Weschler's "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." That will give you all the basics.

Good luck!

You should be able to find a copy at most book stores or libraries (it's a very popular book, as you can imagine!), or you can purchase it online ... here's an Amazon.com link:

Thanks for your reply. I got crampy and tinges but no EW but sometimes watery (TMI). But still fertilityfriend.com still says no ovulation detected. So that's why I'm worried and confused.! Maybe I have to get OPK and drink some green tea/ grapefruit juice.

Am I answering my own question
