I'm making fitteds out of flannel mostly, but some other diaper making materials- what kind of thread do I need for my serger? Wooly nylon, Rayon, Cotton? I'm looking at this site.......http://www.threadart.com/ Do the threads look like a good deal? Thanks!

Woolly Nylon can snag on the velcro/aplix if you're making diapers with that. I just use Maxi Lock thread in my serger (and my regular sewing machine)

I did use Wooly Nylon on the wool and fleece covers I just made with snaps. I didn't think about the aplix sticking to the Wooly Nylon. I usually put aplix on my fitted diapers and have used Maxilock in my serger with great results. I usually make my fitteds with flannel, but I have used cotton knits, sherpa, and velour too. I use hemp fleece as a soaker usually. There are lots of places to buy Maxilock on-line. The cheapest I've see it is here: http://store.atlantathread.com/maxilock.html. I was thinking about ordering some myself, but haven't had a chance yet, so I can't speak for their customer service. I did pay $3.99/cone for Maxilock in my local sewing machine store.

If you have a Hancock fabrics locally, you may want to sign up for their sale circular. Don't know if it's the same everywhere, but around most holidays, they run a sale on Maxilock that meets or beats the price in that link, and no shipping! I always stock up whenever they're on sale.
