So, he finally noticed.

I have 4 boys, all but 1 were cut. I was changing the baby the other day and my oldest was sitting there and he asked what was wrong with Luke's penis. I told him that is how god made him and there was nothing wrong with him. Without making him ask, I told him that he and his brothers were circumsised, and I explained how it was done. He asked me why Luke didn't get circed, I told him I didn't know back when they were born and I was sorry for not protecting them, But we know better now. He said "well, that must be why I act up so much, I was just mad you let them do that to me, but I forgive you mom"

He told me when he has a son, he will never let anybody cut him.

Thanks for posting this. My first son is circ'd and #2 is intact, as well as all future sons. I wonder how that conversation is going to go one day.

You did a great job explaining and that was very sweet of him to forgive you and protect his sons.

You did a GREAT job! I hate to hear stories of moms saying things like, "Everyone is different" or just shrugging it off. You did wonderfully.

Great story!! Thank you for sharing that!

My 3 sons are a circ'd , but no future ones will be! I hope my boys are that understanding!

Great job! Your son will benefit from the way you handled this... as will any future sons of his! well done!

I'm taking mental notes on your tact, and choice of words, hoping I can share them with another someday.

That's a great story, and I love the way you explained your previous choices to him. I am going to be in the same boat in the future. Way to go!
