NNOOOOOOOO!! Help help please help

background information: took on a project a cuople of weeks before Christmas. the goal was to get them done by Christmas eve. three queen sized quilts and 12 patch work teddy bears. obviously not even close. so I just finished the second quilt. I did finish the top in time and my friend just wrapped that up for her mom so she could see. on the way to returnig it to me (you are about to go on a journey with the least lucky quilt on the planet) she spills a pot full of chicken and chicken drippings/greese on to the quilt. and notices 30 minutes later. nasty! So after three washings in cold warm and hot water it is reasonably clean and unstained (smelled like greese still though). then it sat in her car in a trash bag for 14 hours before it got to my house where I hung it to dry. there it sat hanging for weeks until I finished all the bears and could face quilting again. so tonight as I finshed up the basting (all that was left was the binding. 60 minutes to the finish line and a free evening to do it) I knock over my coffee on it. so i run to the sink, rub some laundry soap on it and rinse. comes right out. figure I could still finish this and toss it in the dryer for 30 minutes. it wasn't wet for very long at all. I swear. all of the dark colors ran!!! and as a final insult i must have dragged it through the freaking coffee as I ran for the sink, didn't treat that one and it baked on nice in the dryer. so I quick ran to my sing again and sprayed it down, and tried dish soap, then put some ecover stain stuff and it is washing now.

please tell me there is hope : . I do not want to rip it out and start over. did i mention it was a hand quilted queen sized quilt. and I still have another to do. and one that has been sitting around for my friends wedding present. never mind that she is about to celebrate her first anniversary. one ai started for my dds christmas present 2 1/2 ytears ago and 10 baby quilts that need to be finished up. i just want this all done (and would prefer to not have wasted that much of my life on something that was all for rot!!). why did it run? it has been washed quite a bit already. i couldn't have done more. wouldn't have done more. this couldn't be helped. wwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! :

woohoo!!! : It all came out!!!! then as I was flinging it over the rack I hit the nasty basement ceiling and got something orange on it (oh yeah, this is a bad luck quilt). oh well it will come out. it is the size of a penicil eraser. I can totally deal with that.

woohoooooooooo!!~!!

Glad the coffee came out! Phew!

Hopefully the orange will be the end of it's bad luck streak, and not cause any problems for the gift receiver, lol!
