Uncomfortable in all positions?

Anyone else just plain miserable all around? I am.

Baby is super duper low, but she loves to stretch out and kick the heck out of my ribs. :P I have braxton hicks all the time which I think is the worst part for me because when my tummy is rock hard I can not find a comfy position and she gets all riled up & active during them.

I'm not due until the 22nd or so (later if she's anything like my boys), so I'm really not wanting her to come out yet (as much as I'd love to meet her, I'm not ready with my to do list yet - LOL). I just don't know how I'm going to function for another 2 weeks. I can hardly bend over (burning pain in my groin when I do this as well as my back killing me). Sitting is just sucky, especially in the car.

I'm feeling sorry for myself today & whiny - sorry. Having a lot of pain in my groin area and trying to finish off my to do list while combatting allergies/athsma.

Is anyone else still pregnant and can hardly bear the uncomfortable-ness of being huge? I'm guessing yes...

What do you do to feel better? Our bathtub isn't very deep, so while part of me is relaxed half of me is cold... I wish I could just sit in a hot tub, I know that'd feel great.

This was definitely me a couple of days ago...still dragging a cold around and generally feeling crappy (also not due yet and not really ready for babe to arrive). Though I'm currently feeling better I still want to cry in the middle of the night when I have to turn over or get out of bed - my SP joint is *so* painful then!!

Last night I stretched my legs out straight and one of my SI joints shifted so intensely it felt like it shook my whole pelvis...weird sensation. There was also an audible "thud" (not quite a pop). I was hoping it would ease some of the crunch up front but no such luck. I've been seeing the chiro and we've been working on that joint a lot - it's actually more painful now, though more aligned (which I guess I prefer ).

So, a long winded way to say you're not alone!!

Lena,
I had the sore, achy belly thing going on a few days ago, like the muscles were just way over-stretched. I rubbed arnica gel all over my tummy and that really seemed to help. Either that or I just got used to it

Yes.

Yes.

Pray the baby comes soon. I'm afraid to take a bath because I might not be able to get back out without a crane to pull me out. Laying down only works for so long with a busy toddler around (well, and peeing every 15 seconds).

I'm also having a horrible time peeing/pooping. I have to rock back and forth for like 5 minutes to get most of everything out, and even then I've had to pee again before I even close the bathroom door while leaving the bathroom. This baby's really starting to wear out it's welcome in this body.

I feel like this about half the time and then half the time, more normal. Why? I don't really know. I think it has something to do with how much I eat. Like if I am eating smaller amounts everything is running better and not too stretched. I am due the 25th, but it still seems so surreal. This is my first. I just can't quite imagine this happening. I haven't had any contractions or anything. At least I think I haven't. Sometimes, things do seem to tighten up a bit. Are BH contrax really noticable???

Hey, you are so not alone. I am 38.5 weeks (due 4/24) and while I am absolutely fine w/baby staying put for a while, I am really getting uncomfortable. I also am having those awful BH contrax a lot and they drive me bonkers. Plus my almost 3-year-old seems to have more energy than usual and I cannot keep up with him at all!

Anyway...just commiserating there. Really, you're not alone.

I feel the same. Today is my due date, so when I wake up tomorrow, still pregnant as I'm sure will happen, I'll be officially overdue. I know...due dates aren't exact, but my first baby was so early, I never thought I'd make it this far!

I'm so glad I won't have another preemie, but I am so tired of being pregnant. I'm tired of being whiney, I'm sick of myself. I am having tons of BH contrax, but nothing consistant. I had one night where I had 3 hours of painful contrax every 5 minutes. That was a mean teaser. I really wanted it to be the real thing! I am really hoping I won't still be pregnant on Wednesday and have to go to another of my weekly appointments.

Has anyone done the sweeping the membranes thing? I want this baby to come on her own, but if I go past 41 wks or so, I'm sure it will come up.

Ugh. I'm tired of lugging my big self around, and not being able to keep up with my toddler, and all my nesting energy seems to be gone, so now my house is a mess again. I go nuts and deep clean and then another week goes by with no baby action. I can't bend down to pick up all these toys, but they drive me nuts, so I do it anyway. My groin hurts, my belly aches, my skin is stretched to the limit. I feel like just sitting and crying. AND, if I hear another woman as pregnant as I am say something about how sad they are that their pregnancy will be ending soon I'm just gonna freak out. How does anyone manage to stay so chipper in this condition?
