adjuvant 65 (peanut oil)

i have done a google search and am trying to find any definitive info on whether adjuvant 65 (peanut oil) has actually been used in human vaccines. my sister (whose son has extensive food allergies) is wanting more info since i mentioned that i thought that some vaccines have contained peanut oil. of course now i can only find references to it in studies and that it *may* have been used.

i have also read through the threads here and didn't find what i was looking for.

thanks

"water-in-mineral oil emulsions

No. Freunds Adjuvant was found to be far too toxic in humans.

MT-
Are Freund's Adjuvant and Adjuvant 65 the same thing? I didn't think that they were.

I really want to get an understanding of this whole peanut oil thing. Personally I think there are a million other terrible things in vaxes anyways so this is really just a learning exercise. I made a statement saying that I thought that there may be peanut oil in some vaxes and I know I got that info from somewhere, and I really should try to know what I am talking about without spreading vax "rumors". Does that make sense?

Very interesting history of adjuvants, including oil adjuvents:

thanks li, i'd seen that article too.

from what i have found, it looks to me like adjuvant 65 was at least used in the influenza vaccine in studies, but there is no information indicating it has been used in childhood vaccines.

Yup.
They figured out it was a bad idea pretty quick, I think.
