need help-1st FOE nappy and a problem

ok so I jumped right in and gave gussets a try, using foe for the first time as well. Maybe I should only add one new element at a time?
There are 2 small spots along the edge (FOE) of my diaper that got 'left out' of the foe. I didn't notice until I was all the way around the darn thing! It's also deeply unfortunate the missed fabric is in the leg area where the foe needs to be stretched!:
So what's the easiest way to fix this?
Should I rip out the seams an inch or so on each side of the missed material and then add it in?
Please don't tell me I wasted a nappy!
I'm out of PUL now too until my coop order arrives so I can't even make myself feel better by making another one.

I've done that twice, the first two times I worked with FOE! There is definitely a learning curve there. I just picked out the stitching on the parts that didn't "catch" the fabric, and a bit further. Then I put it all the way down where it should have been, and sewed it. They both look fine. Just be careful picking out the stitching--I had one part that got really fuzzy because I picked out part of the FOE itself.

thanks rebeccalizzie. I just wanted to ask before I ripped out the seam.
I got it fixed up, it's a wee weka pocket. I'll have to make some inserts for it now.
