How many times have you poas???

W/ dd I poas 9 times or so (still have them ) w/ ds I only did 6 (still have them ) then last pg it was 4 (still have them too ) this time there was 1 yest am - my first bfp and then another this am (the 2nd from that box ) darker BFP!!!! I was at cvs and bought another box of 2 this afternoon and am nervous to take one in the morning . Its not like we've got that extra $12 to blow but I couldn't help it.

I believe it means "peed on a stick" if I'm not mistaken.


I "poas" about 6 times. I bought 20 from babywishes.org so I have lots left . dd has been bugging me to do it again just to see how much darker the line got.

Oh, yes, I have been poas a lot! Today I used the last of my dollar store stash, so that makes, uh, ten. So far. I still have one I believe, an inverness brand. I planned to buy more at the dollar store today (5 or more) but convinced myself that poas 1 or 5 or even 20 more times will not guarantee that this little one will be a sticky. I was a tad concerned about potential progesterone problems, and that's been haunting me. Anyway, I decided that it was time to just take a deep breath, smile, and just plain be happy that I'm pg (and stop stressing)! It is fun to line the tests up and see the progression of darker lines. I also marked down how many minutes or seconds it took to see a line each time, and that has been getting dramatically faster.

With DS, I had bought a 4-pack at Costco, but only used 1. It was so instantly positive, that I didn't feel the need to do it again. The cycle before this one, I had preg symptoms and went 4 days late, so I poas 8 times. Then AF showed up. : I never got a bfp with that one, so I think it was just a super early m/c. Then for this one, I poas 2 times... or was it 3? I forget. I had tests from Dollar General. I love $1 hpts!!!! And they're pretty sensitive too.

Actually, I technically used 5, I guess. I did one mid-cycle just to make sure that I really wasn't preg from the previous cycle (was pretty sure I wasn't, but wanted to double check), and then I took one the day before I left for a trip, but I wasn't far enough along yet to get a bfp, and I expected to not get one. I was right. Then when we got back 4 days later, I took the 3rd test and it was +++. I took one more later in the day for fun. And I think I took another one like the next day, again, just to see that bfp! I guess after seeing 8 negatives the previous cycle, plus 2 more during this cycle, I was really wanting to see lots of bfps to make up for it.

Oh, and technically, I didn't poas... I piac.
