are you happy with your HB diapers?

I liked HB diapers until yesterday when I made one medium AIO. So far I only made small and I wanted to try one medium and it is SO HUGE!!! It's so huge that it looks ugly

Why are they so wide and high? It's a monster diaper!!

Yes, I am happy with them. I only make HB pockets, though. I made the mediums when ds was 4 months old and he is over 2 years old and he can still barely fit in them. They have always fit him wonderfully, even at 4 months. I *love* them.

I might be inclined to narrow the crotch area if I was making AIO's, though. But for pockets, the width there works really well with the microfiber inserts available everywhere.

IME whenever I make the next size diaper, it looks humongous (and ugly - or at least not nearly as cute)!!

They do run very large. I have to try the pockets.
I did not mean for the first post that HB are ugly It just looked so huge after making newborn sizes....

I have to agree w/ you - I like the nb HBs better than the larger ones. I was going to go buy a new pattern, but I posted here 1st & I got the suggestion to take an inch out of the width. I did that & I loved it! but I think the next batch I make, I will take the inch out of the width & then add it back onto the wings. I'm working on making them w/ PUL next, b/c I think the fleece is sooo bulky.

No problem, I think I understood what you meant. It *is* such a shock to be used to one size and then look at the next larger one.
