NIP experiance at Olan Mills

Thought I'd share an awesome NIP experiance since the Sal. Army one so infuriated me...

Anyhow ~ So I took the baby to Olan Mills this AM to get her portraits done...she did good but after wasn't happy, was really hungary. They had asked me to fill out a paper & I was nearly done so when she started to fuss I said "Just one second & Mommy'll feed you." The photographer took the paperwork out of my hands & said "I'll finish this for you, you go ahead & nurse that baby!!" Is that amazing or what?? I didn't even SAY I was nursing, just that I'd FEED her!! Of course it's probably just HER - not an "Olan Mills" thing - but I will definatly go back there again!!

Hurrah! I love positive nursing stories. Lactivism works again! I think more people are finally getting it that breastfeeding is good and natural for babies. It gives one a good feeling to know that you can nurse and have strangers be supportive (especially if your family is a little weird about it.) Good for Olan Mills.

That makes me happy to hear someone who sees nursing as the normal defult way to feed a baby.
