23 when DD#1 was born, 24 when DD#2 was born 18 months later. I'm 25 now.
Got married at 18.

I want to be done with the birthign before 30 so I need to hurry & make up my mind about more kiddos sometime soon!

And, here is my rant for the (late) morning:

I just went to see a new OB because I haven't had a check-up in a few years, and she actually had the nerve to say something about how "old" I was to have had my first child.... Then she went on to make some sarcastic comment about the bonding betw. me and my daughter, as we're still breastfeeding. When I went on to inform her that extended breastfeeding is not only beneficial for bonding, but is also proven to reduce risk for ovarian and breast cancers (which both happen to run in my family!!!), she quickly said "I know," in a dismissive, all-knowing way. I wanted to smack her face for being a smug and annoying JERK!!!

17 when I got pregnant and 18 when ds was born. I am 25 and just had my second .
Mommytolittlelily I just have to say, drop that OB. You deserve so much better.

I chose 18-21... b/c I would have had my first at 21 had I not miscarried. I actually had my first at 22 (but I got pregnant again while still 21...).

I would have tried to have one sooner had I been married sooner. I had no desire to be disowned which is what would have happened with a baby before marriage in my family... dd will not be disowned if she gets pregnant before marriage... she will be supported and helped!

Not by choice. DH and I had been trying for a family since I was 28, but suffered four miscarriages.

I'll be 35 when this baby is born, and I'd still like another child or two afterwards. My age means I'll be spacing them closer than I would have liked (my original plan was 4 years apart), but at least my OB doesn't get worked up about my age. I have gotten one comment that I might be a little over-confident about my continued ability to conceive easily, but so far I'm right and she's wrong. :P
