Newly pregnant w/vaginal discharge??

I am around 4 weeks pregnant as far as I can tell but I have been noticing some vaginal lubrication off and on for a while now. It is clear, kind of like the good "egg white" vaginal fluid that you have on fertile days. There is no odor, no itching, etc.

Is this normal? Is it just a hormonal thing? I don't remember it happening with my first pregnancy but I also was not as "aware" of my body back then either.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas about it??

sounds totally normal. I remember having it when I was pg with dd.

I had tons of it, I was almost soaked all the time. It is perfectly normal.

That sounds familiar! I think I changed my underwear about 3x a day for my entire pregnancy.

Increased estrogen in the pregnant body causes the turnover of white blood cells in the vagina to increase, thus providing that lovely, copious discharge.

W/ pg #1, I noticed it getting way annoying later on in the pg. With this pg, it has been copious from the get-go!

So yes, it is totally a hormonal thing, and can happen at other times in a woman's life, too.

i wish i had mdc to ask when i was pregnant with my first, almost 16 yrs ago! i too soaked my undies, and was quite "juicy" the entire 9 months!

my labia was also quite "red/flushed"....and i was terrified i was some weirdo with red juicy vaginal lips, i mean, whats up with that?
