Hi,
I had to share this sweet story...
A 4-yr-old friend of the family met our 8-mo-old son for the second time yesterday. She was SO cute with him, hugging him, playing with him, dancing with him, etc. While I was nursing him, she came over to check things out.
HER: What are you doing?
ME: I'm feeding him.
H: With your BREAST?
M: Sure!
H: Why?
M: Well, babies love it! (BTW: Didn't get into the nursing beyond infancy...sorry!)
H: Does he ever eat from the other side?
M: Yes, it depends how hungry he is.
She then pulled a pillow over and cuddled up right next to him, which he LOVED. A little while later, she was playing with her baby doll. She yanked up her top and put the baby to her chest and announced, "I'm feeding the baby!"
That's my very first experience with a kid's rxn to nursing!
