Good beach toys . . . where can I get 'em?

I have done google search after google search, amazon, etoys ... all junk! I want a good pail and shovel to start, maybe a tractor or digger too. Magiccabin.com had metal ones, but they'd rust with salt water. I don't mind plastic, but it's gotta be durable, not the cheapy stuff you'd find most places. Anyone?

Brio is nice, and there are other nice ones as well. Try a local indie toy store.

we've done fine with the stuff from target- cheap & lasts all summer & then some (we live at the beach so they get a lot of use). toyrus just put out a bunch of stuff but i didn't get a good look. i know they often have beach stuff from little tikes so they'd be built to last.

Small World Toys makes some really nice, sturdy plastic beach toys that we've used for many summers. We got ours at a small independent toystore.

I got some really good hand held shovels and rakes from Discovery Toys.
Thick and sturdy plastic, not flimsy. They are good for sand or the garden too.
