My 1000th post! (also, which forums do you visit?)

Just wanted to post it here, since this is where I racked most of 'em up.

So, other than our DDC, of course, which forums do you haunt?

For me, it's mostly the Arts & Crafts forums in Natural Living - yarn crafts, diaper making, and sew, serge, embroider. I do pop in on diapering once in a while...

finding your tribe tribal area for both my area and oregon (where we used to live)
eat to live thread in fitness and weight management
arts and crafts esp. yarn crafts
mindful home management (decluttering and simplifying mostly)

i dabble in almost all the forums if reed is asleep on my lap and i only have 1 hand free to do anything.

i'm all over arts & crafts (as you know especially fom the diaper-making forum!), decluttering & simplifying, finances, vaccinations, lactivism, learning at home and beyond (trying to see if homeschooling is for us), and the tp

um... i've never been on the nutrition board : and only on the health and healing board once.... and i must share the best tip ever (for me anyway)... if you're prone to ingrown toenails (i am totally, as is my brother who has had surgery done to remedy thee of them)... cut a bit of a 'v' shape into the middle of the nail. the nail will know that damage has been done and will try to close the 'v', thus pulling the nail away from the sides and preventing (or healing) an ingrown toenail!!!

hope that makes sense.... i'm so slow at nak still (though, kind of funny, the last time i actually had two hands to type i could hardly coordinate them!)...

Ohhhh, good post! (congrats by the way on the 1000). I have recently been lurking around and exploring (I can't get on the TP though? any ideas). I have been to: diapering, vaccinations, the eczema tribe, and midwives and doulas...

I'm scared when they kick us off this DDC. Will they let us stay forever? WEll, I'm trying to branch out so thanks for the ideas of where to go. And darn it, I only have 200 + posts - I'll never get to 1000!!!

im lazy so i look at "new posts" first...i dont go directly to many forums other than this one..sometimes i go to the vax's, but i am in the process of reading 2 more vax books so im waiting before i start asking serious questions.
btw, overstock has some vax books.

i shoudl try to start off in the forums more...but i do like the vax, tao, news and current events (i get in trouble there), and life with a babe.

i wish i knew where you guys were and what you are going through more with your babes...but i never seem to find posts by our dddc members (well, other than me and pan who have teens that are causing premature greyness! lol!).

so, yeh, preteens and teens is one of the forums i visit often.

and nh...we just had our first playgroup yesterday (visited stoneyfield yogurt ...the tour was boring).

Wow, we are a varied group, aren't we? I wasn't even aware of the existence of some of the forums you mentioned; I'm going to check them out.

I forgot to mention the TP. That's about the only place I bump into some of you, outside of our cozy little world here. Boy, do I get in trouble over there. DH and I finally agreed that I would get a yearly allowance for TP spending, and I've almost burned through it. It's only April! Guess I'm going to have some major spending withdrawal very soon..

Oh, and I guess the TP/Co-ops and Swaps posts don't count to your total, because when you list all of my posts in my profile, it shows like 1200 or something.

I visit life with a babe, toddler, preteens and teens, parents as partners, TP, co-op (not so much anymore, haha), arts and crafts, just started checking out home management or whatever it's called, and anything alse that suits my fancy. I read more than I post though.

Congrats! I just hit 700 and was amazed. Whatever have I been talking about? Other than here, I'm in yarn crafts, Elimination Communication, sometimes toddlers and life with a babe and family bed. Sometimes mindful home management and nutrition. Mostly lurking. Oh, also the homescooling and ed forums as we are thinking of homeschooling of one form or another, probably our own special brand.
