Made my first diaper cover!!

Well, my first one all by myself (my mom helped a LOT with the very first one!) using the VB pattern. It fits dd pretty well, although the elastic isn't super tight around her legs. Is this a problem? I was pulling the FOE pretty tight, but maybe it needs to be tighter?

I'd guess tighter if all you used for elastic was the FOE and it's loose-ish. Good for you by the way! Do you like the pattern?

I do like the pattern! I'm pretty much new to sewing, so it was important to me to have something really easy.

I tried the cover on my dd, and it wasn't as loose as I thought...it works great! I think I might even trust this one at night and can't wait to make more. I need to get a move on though...baby #2 will be here in about 12 weeks!!!

The only bummer is that I have to resew part of the back...I didn't catch the material in the elastic good enough and it's coming undone a little, but no big deal.
