anybody else till a huge fan of cuddlbuns? love them!

I'm not big on fitteds.. I actually find them quite annoying in the winter time when we need a cover. But for this summer to go covoerless, I plan to make the new baby (who isn't so new at 4.5 months now!) some fitteds and I'm excited to get to use my cuddlebuns pattern again. I loved them SO much with my oldest daughter. I make mine quick dry and wish they could be sold as quick dry. Love love love the fit!

I haven't made a bikini style yet.. can anyone remind me how much it's recommended to alter the pattern? I have the pattern but my directions are long gone. I think the newer patterns have that option on the pattern itself, but I have a really really really old version and it doesn't have lines for me. So if someone else knows how they pattern recommends doing it, I'd appreciate it!

So far I've only made one, but I really like it. I think from now on I will make bikini-cut for my skinny little guy.

Where is the pattern sold?

I just bought the Cuddlebuns pattern to try for the first time. For bikini cut, all the instructions say to do is use the elastic dots as the new line and bring everything else in one inch, and to shorten the width of the soaker.

I'm excited because just as I was finishing a small sized stash of VB's, he outgrew them, and I'm a beginning seamstress and want to sew something other than diapers. So, I figure a one-size diaper will solve that problem.

Love mine! I love the look of them at least...I haven't gotten to try them out yet! But I think it's a great pattern, and when I researched it on the regular diapering board, most of the mama's there loved the fit of the bikini cut. So that's what I make. I make mine quick dry as well, how do you do your soaker layer? I just attach mine to one end of the dipe and leave the other end loose.

You can buy the pattern at http://www.sewshoppe.com

I want to try the bikini cut but I don't feel very confident altering the pattern. Any hints? As a new sewer, "Move evrything in by one inch" actually seems very intimidating.

You can do it!!! Take some paper - grocery sacks work if you don't have any paper large enough. Draw out the pattern onto the grocery sack then modify it on the sack. Make the exterior lines the elastic lines, move the elastic lines in and shrink the soaker. The directions also say to add another layer in the soaker to compensate for the smaller soaker. If you are making the changes on a bag, you won't feel so committed

Do you leave all the snaps in the same place?

the pattern directions don't mention moving them and the ends pretty much stay the same so I don't think you move them.
