Nadezhda (or Nadia for short) Eyvlin Mikhailovna Voitsekhovski was born at home yesterday around 12:30 pm, 7 lb 4 oz. HBAC after SROM, about 4-6 hours of active labor and 3 1/2 very difficult and straining hours of pushing with some hary moments of decels, serious head molding from coming part of the way down OP, and a second degree tear (I really couldn't hold back at the end) but fortunately we were able to find a good position for her to be comfortable in and me to make progress, she managed to get her head back around and all turned out well (and she's no longer a conehead). I had the best support from my midwife and her birth assistant who is also a doula and ICAN leader (and my midwife was also a leader before), both having HBAC'd themselves and couldn't have done it without them. It hurt, and it was hard, but it was totally worth it to go all natural!
Full birth story to follow when I can take a little more computer time.
