I just thought I would put a quick update here. Our heart baby Sophie was born Friday-4/14 at 2:37. She was 5.13, 36&6/7wks. Born by c/s because of a bleeding placenta previa. We just got home today, she was in the NICU for 6 days, fluid in lungs, they were afraid that her breathing problems were because of her AVSD, but it is more likely, a little bit underdeveloped lungs. You try to prepare for the NICU, but I don't think you can be prepared for the emotional and physical stress and hourly ups and downs that happen, we are so happy to be home! Good Luck to all of you Mamas who have birthed and are getting ready to birth! This is the third time for us and it is just as wonderous as the first!
