do microfiber cloths make good cleaning/dusting rags?

I haven't done the math, but I'm sure i've been spending a lot buying the swiffer dusting cloths and premoistened cleaning cloths. Not to mention the harsh cleaners that are on the cloths. So I am going to stop using the disposable cleaning pads, cloths, wipes, etc. Do microfiber cloths make good all purpose cleaning rags? Do they hold dust, scrub well? I'm thinking about dusting, and bathroom cleaning. I use towels for the kitchen counters already. Have any mamas had good luck using mirco to clean? thanks in advance!

I use them for almost everything, and I really like them. They even scrub the crayon off the windows/TV.

I agree!
We use them for cleaning, but also for dd's dipe inserts, so I have to be careful about which color cloth I pick up, so I don't mix them!

They are the only thing I use for dusting - no spray required. They also work great when you are trying to get spider webs out of corners because everything stays on the cloth. FWIW they are just the right size to wrap around the Swiffer and fit into those little bite spots where it would grab the refill cloth. I just got done using that as my mop. Microfiber holds a LOT of water.

I'm another lover of them.

I'm glad you asked this, I was wondering the same thing myself. Swiffers are the one thing left after going all cloth in the house that I still use. Microfiber cloth it is!
