What my 2 year old saw...

I was laying in bed and ds 2 came up and was talking about the baby.. He says look at he baby mommy.. I say yes the baby is in mommy's tummy.. He says no look at he baby up there (pointing to the window) I say you see a baby there.. He says yes and laughs and starting talking to this baby he sees.. Be careful baby not to high baby.. Come down here baby.. No, no come back baby.. Follows this baby all over the bed room..

Now I am 19 weeks pg this week, and not quite sure what to think.. I'm sure he saw a baby.. He was very adament about it.. Was it our baby.. Another baby just visiting.. Checking the place out.. I keep saying this is our last one, but who knows.. Maybe we have more babies coming.. I had a dream when i was pg that i had 8 eggs in there all getting ready to be babies.. I don't think i could handle 10 kids!!!


Just thought i would share.. What do you all think??

At the risk of sounding completely insane...he probably saw a baby.

We lived in a very very old house (brick foundation is almost completely GONE now) for six years. My son would be playing and suddenly I'd hear him coo and gurgle...I'd look over and he'd be facing away from me with his arms up ... like he wanted to be picked up by someone...only there was no one there. That happened a few times.

Creeped me out.

From what I have read, many times the child's "soul" is not implanted at insemination, and sometimes they come and go for a bit before they settle down. It's not uncommon to have a baby's presence hanging about the house in early and mid pregnancy. I would say this probably is your baby, and not necessarily another one.
Then again, it could just be a game.

Maybe that could be. You said he was pointing to the window. Could he seen himself in it??

Nope...

he cant' see him self in the window.. The curtains were mostly drawn and he was pointing at the side away from him.. Besides.. He's very adament when he talks about himself he is Xavier.. (his name.. ) I figuire he saw a baby too.. (DUH!!! )

I would believe he saw the baby too. I think kids are more connected to the spiritual world.

When my first ds was little he used to insist there was a blue man in his room that he would talk with. He wasn't afraid of him, but it creeped me out!

I think my dd (19 months) "sees" things, too. She will talk to things that I can't see... play in her room, by herself, contently for hours at a time... laughing and giggling like someone told her a joke. She will say "Hi" to absolutely nothing and will point at the floor and say "dog" or "cat," too.

I'm not completely convince that it is just her imagination, but she seems content with it, so whatever.

I have heard many, many times that children are more in touch with the spiritual world and can see things that we, as adults, can't.

OH how exciting....... I bet it was your baby.

Next time ask him if its a boy or girl baby. (Is your ds old enough to tell the difference?)
