Today I got some kefir grains from the Dom himself! After reading his site for the past year or so, discovered he lives around the corner to me! So I went around there today and picked some up. Got to see his artwork, and meet his daughter who is only a week older than my own daughter 
So I got a little lesson in kefir making, and some grains, and a taste of delicious goats milk kefir, and some organic freshly picked and dried oregano and some fruit (fertilised with kefir apparently) and now I have a jar of kefir sitting in my kitchen, hopefully culturing away! I can't wait for tomorrow to try it
