Why can't I finish writing my birth story.

I don't know why I can't seem to finish writing it. Once I start, it becomes so long winded and I sort of give up. Anyways, thanks for the chance to vent.

I was intimidated by it too. It will come when you're ready, or you'll just sit down and make yourself do it. (I did the latter~LOL!) It's so hard to drag yourself away from such a sweet new addition and keep up with everyone and everything too! (((((HUGS))))) sandi

barging in from sept and because i'm stalking april mamas ( mamameg, KKmama and AdinaL)...

try doing it in poem form. i kept getting stuck when writing and then i just wrote it as a train of thought poem with no real structure and it all came out in an hour or two.

Thanks!
Out of my three previous births, I only have one on paper. But it was only a 35 minute labor so it wasn't too difficult to write. With this one, I hope it comes to me soon.
Thanks again for the encouragement and advice.

Just write....you know that no one around here minds a long winded birth story and the more details the better for both you and your little one looking back on it.

I'm waiting for mine. I've found that if I push it, it won't come out...so, much like I had to wait for my baby to be born, I have to wait for the story to surface on it's own. When Emma's finally did, it was fantastic
